Ordering Repeat Prescriptions
You can order your repeat medication in the following ways:
- By handing or posting your order slip to the practice. If you would like your prescription to be posted back to you, please include a stamped addressed envelope with your request
- Using the collection service offered by most local pharmacies. The pharmacy will collect repeat prescriptions from the surgery on behalf of patients who sign up to the collection service. Please ask your pharmacy for details
- Prescriptions may also be collected from the practice at any time during surgery opening hours, including Saturday morning
Always allow at least two working days for your prescription to be processed.
Electronic Prescription Service
Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) enables prescribers – such as doctors and practice nurses – to send prescriptions electronically to a pharmacy of the patient’s choice. This makes the prescribing and dispensing process more efficient and convenient for patients and staff.
For more information or to register for this service, please speak to your pharmacist.
