New Patient Registration

With the permission of Derby & Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group the practice list is currently closed.

This means that we are unable to accept applications to register with the practice at this time.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this action.

The practice does not discriminate against race, gender, social class, age, religion, sexual orientation or appearance when considering registration applications. Neither does the practice discriminate in any way against any disability or existing medical condition of any patient who may apply to join the practice list.

Patient Choice of GP Practices

From 5 January 2015 all GP practices in England are free to register new patients who live outside their practice boundary area.

These new arrangements are voluntary for GP practices. The GPs at Mickleover Surgery feel it is not clinically appropriate or practical to register patients far away from their home address.

They do not wish to offer a two tier service.

They will continue to accept only those patients living within the practice boundaries.
